Here at Apley Grange, our dedicated team of qualified nurses and carers provide a high standard of person centred care. Whether your loved one needs only support and encouragement to care for themselves, or full nursing care, we aim to promote independence, whilst ensuring all their care needs are met with kindness, empathy, and respect.

Our aim is to help every resident maximize their quality of life and wellbeing, and we are happy to go that extra mile to do this.

We pride ourselves at Apley Grange on being able to provide our residents with excellent end of life care when the time comes. Many of our qualified nurses have years of experience in this area of care and endeavor to provide the best possible quality of life for our residents. We liaise with other health care professionals to provide symptom control, keeping your loved one pain free, comfortable and relaxed.

We  support family members in any way we can during these often difficult final days, be this with tea and a sympathetic ear or a chat with our pastoral team. We are here to enable people to live as well as possible until they die, and to die with dignity.

The Pastoral team offers care to all those living at Apley Grange. We collaborate with nursing and care staff to assist in providing emotional, social and spiritual support. The team aims to build positive relationships with all sisters and residents so that their quality of life is maintained, and often enhanced.

The Pastoral team supports the Sisters of the SHCJ with their religious dedications in Apley Grange by helping with the preparation and celebration of daily Mass. The team is also involved in non-religious celebrations and events, engages regularly in one to one sessions with Sisters and residents, takes part in group activities, discussion groups and wellness sessions. Our aim is to ensure the best possible quality of life is enjoyed by each individual Sister or resident whilst here at Apley Grange.
